Visit

We welcome you to come visit us at the Justice For All: Courts and the Community Learning Center beginning Monday, December 17, 2018.

The Learning Center is located on the 5th Floor of the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse.

Admission is free and walk-in visitors are welcome at any time during normal hours of operation (excluding Federal Holidays).
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


 

For any group visits such as school and community groups, we offer customizable field trip options which must be scheduled in advance.

Option 1: Two hours – Courthouse and Learning Center tour: group visitors will explore our Learning Center and also take a guided tour of the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse.

Option 2: One hour – Learning Center only visit: group visitors will explore our Learning Center (note: this option is best suited for groups with time constraints).

Please note, one chaperone is required for every 10 students.

The Learning Center was established by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit with the guidance of the Second Circuit Judicial Council Committee on Civic Education and the programmatic support of the Leon Levy Foundation, Justice Resource Center, and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts the Justice For All: Courts and the Community Learning Center is located within the historic Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse in lower Manhattan.
